The Denver Metro Area is known for its extensive dedicated cycling trail system and this route shows off the three (3) of the longest trails. Trails include the South Platte River Trail, the Cherry Creek Trail and the C-470 Trail.
While I normally ride with my husband, when I do ride solo, I like to stick with the trails for an additional level of security and knowing that help (via bike shops, gas stations, other cyclists) is always near!
I highly recommend this route if you like to stay off roads, be many other cyclists, past famous Denver landmarks!
