Greenville Cycling Travel Guide

Greenville South Carolina has become the cycling hub of the south eastern part of the United States. Trek Travel offers a 6-day, 5-night Ride Camp experience many weeks throughout the year. Ride Camps are focused on cycling with more miles and less elaborate non-riding opportunities.

This style suits us (and are wallets) and this was our 3rd ride camp in three years. We decided to stay in the US again this year (after visiting Solvang last year and Girona and Spain the year before that) and venture to western Carolina to see what the buzz was about! The Greenville region is filled with cyclists, the Swamp Rabbit River Trail, and a beautiful downtown area!

Day 2: Trek Travel Greenville Ride Camp

Trek Travel Ride Day Two I Campbell Covered Bridge
Dinner at Gather GVL I Open air foot hall with several food options (highly recommend; great vibe with good food – I had seafood at the Palmetto Seafood Co and Alex had a good at KO Burger)
Post-dinner drinks at Up on the Roof – the rooftop bar at our hotel

Day 3: Trek Travel Greenville Ride Camp

Wood-fired Pizza Dinner at Indaco (recommend: great outside patio and bar space with great pizza and people watching)
Post-dinner stroll along Main Street in downtown Greenville

Recovery Session at Evolve I Cold plunge tubs, saunas, and recovery boots – much needed!
Wood-fired Pizza Dinner at DeMarco’s Italian (you can sense a theme here – we love wood-fired pizza and seek it out in every town we visit)
Post-dinner stroll around Fluor Field and the West End of Greenville
