Waterton Canyon is a hidden gem in the southwest corner of the Denver Metro! We are lucky to live close to it and can ride our bikes to the start of the canyon road. What makes it a hidden gem – let me tell you!
- 6 miles of vehicle-free road (one way)
- Low and steady grade up – making the descent awesome!
- Fabulous scenery – you are riding in a canyon!
- Several pull out areas for a picnic lunch and quick stop!
The ride from our home added 9 miles each way along the High Line Canal Trail for a total ride of 31 miles – so fun!
