The High Line Canal Trail covers 71 miles from Aurora to Waterton Canyon in the Denver Metro Area in Colorado. It is the longest trail in the US and a favorite to all who explore it!
The trail is divided into 27 segments with many trailheads and access for all throughout. I ran segments 7 and ½ of 8 on a hot, sunny morning in May. The nice part of this section is that it is primarily shaded by the trees that line it.
