We set out to explore the roads and neighborhoods south of Sterling Ranch on this route! My favorite thing is exploring new territory so I was pumped to get started. As with most things, you take the good with the bad. Here is a short breakdown:
The Good
- Moore + Wateton Road from Sterling Ranch to Lourviers: awesome! Newly paved, wide shoulder and rolling hills!
- Peterson Road from Louviers to Sadelia: awesome! Newly paved, quiet road, ability to increase the speed!
- Rainbow Road: awesome! Cool neighbors with neat properties to check out…and big hills!
The Bad
- Jarre Canyon Road: bad. It is okay until Rainbow Road with a shoulder but that soons ends and you are left riding very close to lots of traffic.
Overall, the good outweighs the bad and we learned that we’ll turn around at Rainbow Road, making a great route to add to our rotation!
