The two most well-known bike paths in Denver are the South Platte River Trail and the Cherry Creek Trail. Both start in downtown and splay out in opposite directions from the city. Lucky for all of us, there is a trail that connects both of them together in the south metro – the C-470 Trail! Just the name implies, it follows the C-470 highway across the southern suburbs of Denver. I will admit the scenery isn’t great as you are surrounded by chain stores to the north and the highway to the south. However, the path is new, in great condition, and you can now ride both of the popular trails in one ride!
