The Ouray Perimeter Trail is the perfect way to explore the mountain town of Ouray, Colorado. Ouray is located 5.5 hours southwest of Denver and the Denver International Airport (DIA). It is the first town along the Million Dollar Highway and is known as the “Switzerland of America” for its stunning landscape and sweeping views!
We explored this trail on a weekday morning during a busy holiday week and encountered many hikers throughout our three (3) hour hike. We hiked the trail clockwise and some of our favorites spots include; Cascade Falls, Ouray Via Ferrata, and Box Cañon Falls.
