[Hike] North Table Mountain

North Table Mountain is one of the best places to hike near Denver, Colorado! It is only 20 minutes from downtown Denver making it a great place for a day hike with over 17 miles of trails. On this hike you can see awesome views of downtown Denver on the east side and the mountains on the west side. It doesn’t get any better than that! Additionally, there are three trailheads and places to park giving you more options depending on where you are coming from.

We first hiked North Table Mountain in early August and parked at the east trailhead because that is closest to our home. We headed up the North Table Loop and connected back on the Mesa Trail to make a circle before heading down to the trailhead. This was the first hike where we encountered bikes and quickly realized it is a very popular area for mountain biking as well. I’m sharing this as a heads up for this hike!
