[Hike] Green Mountain

Green Mountain is a favorite spot amongst local Denver folks with its close proximity to downtown.  My pictures from this hike won’t do it justice as I explored it on a misty, cloudy Sunday morning. There are 3 different parking spots with access to Green Mountain – I suggest parking at the one closest to your home or vacation rental. I parked at the Rooney Road Trailhead off of 470. I’m a big fan of loop trails and this is one of them! I followed the signs for the Green Mountain Trail which took me up the mountain and then nice steady decline around to the east side, down to the south side and then back to the start.
