Girona Travel Guide

The next stop on our Spain adventure was Girona Spain! Girona is regarded as the cycling mecca of Europe, maybe all of the world! Many pro teams and individual athletes base out of Girona along with a storefront for every bicycle manufacturer in the world. 

We decided to cycle around Girona with Trek Travel on their 7-day Ride Camp. Their ride camps are focused on cycling with long rides most days. Perfect for us!

Day 1: Arrival & “Easy Spin”

  • We took Renfe’s high-speed train from Barcelona to Girona and from the train station it was an easy 15 minute walk to our hotel, Hotel Nord 1901

Day 2: Sant Marti

Day 7: Goodbye, Girona!

  • After a final Trek Travel group breakfast, we took the same high-speed train back to Barcolona and boarded another train for our final stop, Sitges!
