[Girls Trip] Park City

Park City is a fabulous winter destination for a girls trip – both skiers and non-skiers alike! The downtown area is super trendy, albeit expensive, but a great place to browse, eat + drink, and people watch at the same time! My girlfriend and her husband own a 3-level townhome in the Canyons at Park City so we were lucky enough to stay there for a weekend in February.

Here is a breakdown of our girls trip to Park City!

Day 1: Thursday, Feb 4th

  • Flew in from Denver + Mpls in the morning and picked up our rental car at the airport. Huge perk is the beautiful, smaller Salt Lake City airport with the rental car pickup mere feet from baggage claim. I also recommend signing up for a rewards/bonus program where you can pick your own car; saving so much time waiting in a line. Loved this!
  • Lunch at High West Saloon and Distillery
  • Shopping along Main Street
  • Stocked up on groceries + alcohol for our weekend stay
  • Dinner at Burgers and Bourbon inside the Montage Hotel at Deer Valley

Day 2: Friday, Friday 5th

  • Ski Day at Park City Resort – it snowed all day and we ended with almost 10” on new snow! It was crazy and so much fun! Limited visibility did make it slightly difficult, yet, overall an amazing day of skiing!
  • Apres at Umbrella Bar (main village of resort)
  • Apres continued at hot tub
  • Appetizers + small eats for dinner at the Townhouse after a day of skiing

Day 3: Saturday, February 6th

  • Ski Day at Deer Valley Resort – I skied solo as the other girls cross-country skied and shopped on this day. Deer Valley Resort is part of the Icon Pass so it was a “free” day of skiing for me! And, the weather was a complete 180 from the previous day, warm and sunny!
  • Apres at hot tub
  • Dinner at Hearth and Hill in Kimball Junction

Day 4: Sunday, February 7th

  • Drove through Olympic Park en route to the airport to conclude our trip. A great trip and even better to spend time with these lovely ladies!
