The Denver Metro Area features some amazing trails that connect different communities together and allow you to explore new areas off the roads. The unique “aspect” of this route is that it is FLAT and that is HARD to come by in the Denver Metro.
This route starts from my neighborhood and takes you through Chatfield State Park before hitting the trails as you head north via the South Platte River Trail. After LIttleton, you head east on the Big Dry Creek Trail for a few miles before hitting the High Line Canal Trail. This route highlights some of the best miles of the High Line before turning back on the Centennial Link Trail and then Lee Gulch before retracing your “steps” on the South Platte River Trail. Such a fun ride!
