If you’re looking for a flat, almost mile loop on the west side of Denver, then Berkeley Lake Park is the place to be! There is a small body of water in the middle of the lake and you can find a small amount of crushed gravel around most of the loop of pavement is not your friend. This park is busy in the mornings with lots of dog walkers as a popular dog park is basically connected to the loop. Good news if you like to see other faces as you make your way around the park!
I visited Berkeley Park for my company’s virtual 5K! I wanted to get away from my normal route [it was “special” this way!] and change it up a bit by going to a park with people! The loop was a perfect size; jogged a loop to warm up, ran a little over three loops for my 5K and then did a cool down lap.
