Sloan’s Lake is the place to be for runners! The views of downtown Denver and the mountains are unbelievable! There is a paved path around the lake as well as a packed gravel path around most of it as well. Another bonus is that part of Byron Place road on the north side is now closed to vehicle traffic allowing for more space as this lake is very busy!
I’ve run around Sloan’s Lake several times and enjoyed it every time. I’ve been fortunate to catch some amazing sunrises on my loop around the lake. I love that it has lots of free parking at many different points making it easy and convenient to park and get running!
