Wash Park is the gem of Denver with outdoor enthusiasts flocking to it every day! It has several paths for different activities including walking, running, and cycling – something for everyone!
In addition to the trails outlining the park, the interior includes two lakes and lots of green space for picnics and lawn games. It also has tennis and basketball courts.
I like it so much that I did a run around the park on my birthday – in the winter! I’ve detoured from the Cherry Creek Trail and cycled around it several times as well. I’m also a big architecture fan and the homes surrounding the parks are beautiful to look at!
Definitely check out Wash Park on your next trip to Denver or if you are a local resident!
