[Road Ride] US 36 Bikeway

You don’t have to drive from Denver to Boulder – you can bike along the US 36 Bikeway! This unique 18 miles bike path goes from Westminster [80th Avenue] to Boulder [Table Mesa Station]. If neither of these locations are convenient for you, don’t worry as several other paths in the north metro intersect with this path. Check out a map to see what intersection is closest to you.

The highlight of this bike path is the scenic overlook just north of McCalin Blvd. You’ll earn this pit spot as it is a climb to it from either way!

After many drives to Boulder, I was excited to be one of the cyclists I often see on the bike path! We rode seven miles to the start of the path from our home in Arvada and made our way past the scenic overlook and turned on Cherryvale Road and explored some popular roads in southeastern Boulder. We stopped at Dry Creek Trailhead to refuel for the ride home! Definitely add this to your list!
