The Woods Walk trail is an easy 3 mile trail just off Elk Street in Crested Butte. Woods Walk connects with other trails in this region and a great option if you want to hike from town. You’ll see wildflowers, the Crested Butte Ski Resort, lots of mountain bikes, and, of course, the mountains along this walk.
We only had a couple hours to explore Crested Butte and this trail – distance, location, challenge – was the perfect way to start our afternoon. After, we strolled along Elk Street which was extremely busy on a Thursday afternoon. We loved our short time here and will definitely be back!
