Golden is quickly becoming one of my favorite hiking areas and I’m sure it will be yours as well! It is an easy 20 minute drive from Denver making it easy to get to anytime of day. Although parking is limited around the trailhead, one bonus is that it is within walking distance of downtown Golden. Score!
Although it’s sister to the north, North Table Mountain, might get more visitors and recognition, I’ll take this quiet trail! As with more trails, the beginning is the hardest part but you will be rewarded with awesome views of Golden and Denver at the top! The unique aspect of this trail and mountain is that it is flat on top giving you a completely different feel once you’ve climbed up it.
