The South Rim Loop Trail within Roxborough State Park is a hidden gem! While most trails start at the Visitor’s Center, this one starts just before then and gives you an opportunity to “take a step back” and view the park from the southernmost rim.
Hike the trail clockwise if you’d like to conquer the steeper part of the trail on the way up. I prefer this way on my hikes which allows you to enjoy the downhill a little more!
Enjoy!
