The Daniels Park Trail is a hidden gem in the southwest metro of Denver, Colorado. It is located between Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines, and Castle Rock along US Hwy 85. The trail follows the “ridgeline” allowing for awesome views the entire way.
This is a great winter hike for many reasons – it is a flat trail, 100% exposure to sunshine, and no mountain driving! These were the reasons that I decided to explore this trail further on my birthday!
