What a hidden jem! I accidentally stumbled on Daniels Park driving home from a pilates class in Castle Rock. It was a beautiful morning and I had 30 minutes to spare so I followed the signs to the park from Highway 85! After 5 miles of climbing the road peaked at Daniels Park and I pulled into the park.
The views were amazing! Being at the “top” of the vantage point, you have unobstructed views of the mountains to the west, the Highlands Ranch Backcountry Area to the northwest, and downtown Denver to the north!
