Boulder Falls is a great pit stop along Hwy 119 in Boulder. There isn’t much of a “hike” to it but a nice place to stretch your legs or take some photos if you are in the Boulder area!
I visited in late Autumn, in the middle of a drought, so the falls weren’t flowing as much as you’d see in the spring. I’d recommend visiting in April or May when the snow runoff creates raging falls!
Heads up! There is no “parking lot” at the falls – there is room for several vehicles to pull off and parallel park on the right side of the road [side of the falls] and several spots on the opposite side of the road. Be prepared to stop quickly when you reach the falls!
