This ride is perfect if you are looking to add miles to your Waterton Canyon route by riding through the southwest side of Chatfield State Park!
After Waterton Canyon, weave through the parking lot and Denver Audubon Kingery Nature Center and head north on the gravel trail before diving into the state park on any number of trail inlets. I think of the next area as a “choose your own adventure” – slow down and enjoy the single track trails! Finally, join up with the main road (paved) of Chatfield State Park and make your way back to Sterling Ranch!
