We set off to find as much gravel as we could from our doorstep in Arvada, Colorado. We rode through the Van Bibber Open Space with gravel paths and made our way to the entrance of the North Table Mountain East Trailhead where there is a gravel trail just to the east of the mountain and west of Easley Road. This gravel trail goes through Long Lake Regional Park and turns to a paved trail as you approach Blunn Reservoir. This part has a pretty steep incline with cool views of the surrounding areas. The trail turns back to gravel on the east side as you approach Tucker Lake and make your way north to Pattridge Open Space for a nice stretch of gravel to mark the turnaround point in the ride.
