The East / West Regional Trail runs 28 miles from Highlands Ranch to Parker in Colorado. It is a challenging single track trail that sits on a ridge with great views along the way!
This route starts from Sterling Ranch and travels through Chatfield State Park before starting on the official trail. The west side of the trail is a “treat” for me as it has several “mountain bike sections” which I don’t do often. Once you reach the “top” at Highlands Points, you can retrace your steps or cruise down the ridge and connect with the roads and circle back to Chatfield State Park and return to Sterling Ranch.
