[Road Ride] South Platte Coffee Shop

The South Platte River Trail to Nixon’s Coffee Shop is the perfect Sunday ride in the southwest metro area of Denver! When you stop at Nixon’s you see you aren’t alone – it is always busy with cyclists, runners, walkers and families – I love the vibe here!

As the first sentence applies, this is a common Sunday ride for me. I love being able to spin the legs out, get off the roads, and have a great turn-around spot to use. I also love that you can go further up the trail if you want more miles in your ride. The one thing to note on this popular trail is that it is busy! You’ll have to slow down from time to time to respect the people on foot.
