[Weekend Getaway] Ski Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is regarded as the “hardest” resort to ski in the United States. It is the hardest because it has the most vertical with very few green runs within its terrain. Be prepared for challenging runs with great views and a unique experience to ride an aerial tram to the top of the mountain!

Jackson Hole has been on our list for years and we were excited to finally visit in February of 2025 with four friends bringing our group size to 6! Jackson is an 8 hour drive from Denver making it accessible by car or plane. We chose to drive and lucked out with sunny, mild weather for our drive to and from (important note: the wind along I-80 was still SCARY in with our mild weather; I cannot imagine how treacherous it could have been in “normal” winter conditions).
