Santa Fe, New Mexico, with its boutique shopping, wineries, great food, and outdoor activities, is an ideal destination for a girls’ getaway. Although we had hoped for sunny, 50-degree days during our early November trip, we were met with a 48-hour snowstorm and over 12 inches of snow! Despite having to change most of our plans, we still had a wonderful time. Our girls’ trip to Santa Fe was a success, even with the unexpected weather!
Day One I Arrival
- We all arrived at different times throughout the afternoon
- Dinner I The Shed
Day Two I Hike + Shop
- Morning Hike I Atalaya Peak
- Explore + Shop I Canon Road (More than 100 galleries, boutiques and restaurants on a 0.5 mile stretch just east of the Plaza. We attempted to explore but most businesses were closed due to the snow)
- Explore + Shop I The Plaza (Luckily several more businesses were open around the plaza and we enjoyed stopping into those that caught our eye and warming up! We all bought chocolates from chocolate + cashmere and were educated by our first trip to a dispensary at Verdes)
- Happy Hour I Gruet Winery Tasting Room (highly recommend; this was my favorite spot on the trip)
- DInner I Coyote Cafe & Cantina
Day Three I Hike + Message
- Morning Hike I Picacho Peak
- Afternoon I Massage
- Happy Hour + Tapas I La Boca (highly recommend; this quaint spot reminded me of Barcelona Spain!)
- Dinner I Pasquals Cafe and Gallery
