[Hike] Coyote Song Trail

Snow and Winter doesn’t have to stop you from hiking around Denver! WIth the mild temperatures and fast-melting snow, hiking in the winter months is quite enjoyable! You will have to be on the lookout for ice and mud in spots, yet overall the ground is in good condition. Another bonus, you’ll be able to wear a cute winter hat!

The Coyote Song Trail + other connecting trails are just south of Red Rocks and west of C-470 in the southwestern suburbs of Denver. Being so close to Red Rocks, the same rock formations are found along this trail, making them the highlight of this trail! Although I added the connecting Cathy Johnson Trail to my adventure, I’d recommend sticking on the Coyote Song Trail to maximize the beauty of the rock formations all around!
